Trisha & Alex
Trisha has over 20 years of teaching experience and a wealth of classroom knowledge. Currently teaching Year 5/6, she also leads English and Wellbeing at her local primary school, bringing a deep understanding of what works in the classroom. Alex, a talented musician with an impressive ability to play almost any instrument, has a knack for turning any subject into a catchy song. Together, they combined their unique talents and passions to create Silly School Education.
Our Story
When the world shifted in 2019, we saw a real need for engaging, educational content for children. We started by creating a simple song about pronouns and shared it on YouTube, not knowing it would be the beginning of something much bigger. The response was overwhelming, and soon it had over 1 million views and was part of a growing library that has now accumulated over 83,000 subscribers and 40+ million views! Inspired by the success, we decided to expand our efforts, creating more fun, animated songs that made learning both exciting and memorable. From there, we began developing lessons and resources, all designed to help teachers and parents bring education to life in a way that’s engaging, accessible, and fun - with a touch of silly!
Why We Do What We Do
At Silly School Education, we believe learning should be fun, exciting and bursting with colour! Our goal is to spark curiosity and joy in every lesson, using music and animation to turn tricky topics into memorable experiences. Learning through song is at the heart of what we do - it helps children retain information, stay engaged and enjoy the learning process. We’re also here to support teachers, making their lives easier with ready-to-use resources that save time, reduce stress and bring a little extra magic to the classroom.
